Open Water Clinics
Swimmers new to Open Water will benefit from our Open Water Clinics, aimed at getting you comfortable and confident in the open water environment in small groups. We introduce SOLUTIONS to the differences and challenges unique to Open Water. We will discuss appropriate distance training for your race distance, along with tactics, tools and tips to help you start off on the right stroke!

Directions
Red Top, Lake Allatoona, 50 Lodge Rd SE, Cartersville, GA 30121
Once you enter the park on Red Top Mountain Rd:
Go across bridge and enter park.
Go 6/10th of a mile and turn left on Park Marina Road.
Go 7/10th of a mile and turn right at the Park Office/Cottage Check in.
Check in at the office to obtain a parking pass ($5) and park at the bottom of the lot.
Follow the Lakeside trail to the beach and benches by the water.

Lake Lanier Directions
I-85 North (17 miles) to I-985 North (8 miles)
Exit 8 onto Lanier Islands Parkway / GA 347 toward Lake Lanier
Turn left (west) onto Lanier Islands Parkway
Take Lanier Islands Parkway (5 miles) to
the entrance gateway to the Park. Once there, you will pay a parking fee and get your
pass for the park.
At the first round about, take the second right and continue on Lanier Islands Parkway.
At the next round about with the big clock, take the second right and continue on Lanier
Islands Parkway.
Turn left on Lake House Road and follow the signs to the Grand Hall Parking area.
There is plenty of on site parking for swimmers and volunteers.
From there, please look for the SAA signs and SAA volunteers to direct you down to the
lake front site.
